My crazy, beautiful team again

After a long, but fantastic day where we went shopping (which I haven't really done so much of since I started my term), we went to the famous Birmingham social. Apparently AIESEC in Birmingham has been doing a Christmas social every year...and this was the 9th time...

Imagine 150 people coming from all corners of the country to Birmingham just for one night...for one party and to get together with people they had met all through autumn in different conferences, careers fairs, etc. It felt to me like an american prom night as we had live music, karaoke and everyone was dressed up, dancing on a big dancing ring, so on, so on...
It was a fantastic evening of chatting to a lot of people and dancing and fun. And it was all topped up by the fact that we got to sleep at Mark Hagan's house, one of AIESEC UK's favourite directors, who enchanted us with his house, life, job and his fascination for penguins. (Apparently the have the same social structure as humans...they mate for life, none of them is on the outside of the circle too long when they keep each other warm...and there is prostitution as well...females will sleep with the male who brings them the biggest rock that they can use to build a nest :)
Over all, this night was the second party we had, out of the 6 christmas parties we are having in 7 days :)
