24 April 2011- Reims, Champagne region

Champagne tasting at Pommery, second largest champagne producer in the world

With Sonia- two ladies :)

Widow Pommery had a taste for arts...in the champagne cellars...

Ask me about the process of making champagne...it's so interesting!

They had a different gallery for each market they produced the champagne for...

The road in and out of the cellar...mind the steps!

Pommery estate...looks like a little castle...

Pommery is now a collaboration between the FRench and the Dutch...
Having a taaasty lunch on Easter Sunday...the town was deserted...

Beautiful and old Cathedral..800 years of age...

Very cheesy tourist photo...had to be done...

City Hall...reminded me a bit of home..only much better taken care of...

Detail on the main cathedral...

They brought this mechanical spider to celebrate 800 years of existence of the cathedral...no one knows why...

And the cathedral in all it's glory...a cool day over-all!
